We’re looking for (PERMANENT) highly-skilled and gifted writers who have specific knowledge about technology in various industries.

Candidates must be able to synthesize and contextualize highly complex ideas and frame them in a conversational narrative.

Ideal candidates will be able to draw from their technical expertise to lend specificity to general technology topics.

Subjects you might write about include (but aren’t limited to):


° Artificial intelligence and machine learning

° Blockchain and cryptocurrency

° Cybersecurity and encryption

° Coding and web design and development

° Data management

° Health tech (e.g., electronic medical records, telemedicine, etc.)

° The Internet of Things

° Business process automation, customer relationship management software, etc.


If you like to write and learn about technology, this work is for you. A love of AP style and online writing is a must. All articles are time sensitive, therefore, we need experienced writers that offer quality content and a fast turnaround time.


OTHER JOB DETAILS—

Number of Assignments Available:
You determine how many assignments you are available for each week; most writers average between 1-3 articles per week. The availability of assignments fluctuates and is dependent upon our clients’ production.

Freelance writers work with our editorial staff via Core, our internal software. Core houses assignment information, publication guidelines, and the client answer sets/interview files that serve as the foundation for the piece. Writers complete their assignments in Core and are given feedback on every piece produced.


HOW TO APPLY—

Evaluation Process:

1) Submit an "Application of Interest". You must include a link to your portfolio, résumé/CV, and/or samples of your work (in your application). Please tell us about your technology work background/ industries/etc.

2) If you are shortlisted, you will complete a timed test article. Test article compensation is $50 USD. You will be given a choice of time slots. Next, you will have 4 hours to submit the timed article (if you are shortlisted). This article will only be used to determine the quality of your writing and to assess whether this type of writing is a good fit; it will not be published.

3) If you are selected for hire, we will discuss and negotiate your bi-weekly salary compensation and remote work schedule(s).
