SOWI undertook a 4-day orientation in Kampala from the 13th through the 16th of December 2022 at The Essela Country Hotel in Wakiso District.
The purpose of the training included:
Equip Board members with practical knowledge on leadership
Advance their roles in order to steer the organization
Help manage upcoming grants under TASO that may be awarded to SOWI in 2023
Our Chairperson and the Treasurer returned with advanced knowledge of their leadership and management roles and responsibilities, ready to execute goals in the coming year.
